I’m starting a newsletter!


I’m launching a printed newsletter, and the first issue is all about embracing snail energy. Why? Well, it took me over a year to finally put the plan of writing a newsletter into action, so embracing the steady, slow pace of my favorite shelled creature felt fitting. I’m absolutely stoked on how issue one turned out, and I don’t think I would be able to say that if I had blustered my way through making this happen back when I had the idea many months ago. favorite things: april 2025


Every time that I tried to sit down and write this post, something about the empty textbox would give me a little pang of anxiety. I felt stuck. No words could patter out from my finger tips. I just stared and started at the great nothing as the cursor blinked its impatient toe-tap, only to eventually give up, open a new tab, and distract myself by scrolling reddit or refreshing the KCZC application spreadsheet and watching the number of potential tablers tick up and up and up.
