Time flies. I can’t believe it has been just over a month since I tabled KC Zine Con #8 on June 3rd. It feels like it happened last weekend, and I’m still riding that good, good zine fest high, all inspiration and motivation. Time fucking flies. Zine workshops, classes, or panels are a great way to build community, unleash creativity, and spark inspiration. I’d love the opportunity to teach your students, friends, neighbors, members, etc. about writing and crafting zines! During a catmothcrow workshop, I help students discover their voice as they work to create their very own zines. My accessible and dynamic lesson plans, tutorials, and workbooks can be customized to fit a bevy of topics; past workshops have touched on everything from social justice to classical music to healing through writing. A Visit to the Denver Zine Library


I visited the Denver Zine Library a little over a year ago, during a time when I wasn’t blogging. But now that I’m back in the blogosphere, I wanted to re-cap my visit! The Denver Zine Library has been around since 2003, and is currently located in The Temple, an artist’s collective housed within a converted cathedral. Truth be told, the Library can be a little hard to find if you’re not in the know; the building doesn’t have a lot of signage, and the cathedral itself is a little intimidating!
