A funny thing happened at Zine Club on Tuesday. I was sitting in the library, chatting with Chez and Heather, when two new folks showed up with a shoebox chock-full of zines to share. That isn’t too unusual, as from time to time someone will search “zines in Kansas City” or see a post on the library’s instagram and turn up for a meeting or two…

Roll for Zine is back with another season of making zines from prompts spurred by the rolls and whims of the dice! Check out episode one’s cryptid-themed mini, or print your own game sheet and play along.

Grab your dice and give ’em a shake: everyone can now play Roll for Zine! Roll for Zine is my silly internet game show inspired by Adventures in Aardia’s Roll of Sandwich series. Based on the whims and wishes of the dice, I craft, or crack the spine of, a zine. So far, this has resulted in the creation of one brand new mini (“Riding Roller Coasters with Vincent Price” from Episode 2) and it’s allowed me to revisit some old favorite titles.
