Paper Plains Zine Fest 2023
Summer 2023 was bookended by zine fests. It began with KC Zine Con #8 on the first Saturday in June, and then over labor day weekend, I celebrated summer’s end at Paper Plains Zine Fest just across the stateline in Lawrence, KS. This was only Paper Plains’ second year, but you wouldn’t know it — this fest is run like a well-oiled machine and I had a top notch tabling experience.
