Happy #TinyZineThursday! Today I want to share some delightful mini zines with y’all: “You Can Art” by Leanne Delux. While surfing the Youtube algorithm searching for zines, I stumbled upon her zine tour video, and asked if she’d be up for a trade… and to my delight, she said yes! Finding these bright, embellished minis in my mailbox was such a treat. Each issue is full of affirmations and reminders surrounding the art-making process, and I’ve been keeping them on my desk as a little pick-me-up when I’m feeling a lapse of inspiration or writer’s block. Sometimes a beautifully-collage zine reminding me to “practice, practice, practice” and that “the actual doing of something, that’s how you grow” is just the thing to snap me outta a creative rut.
