I’ve recently become a member of Sarah Shay Mirk’s Snail Mail Supporters club; for $12 a month, they’ll send you zines, stickers, and other assorted ephemera on the regular. In May, they included this zine — “Queer Voices from the Fight for Palestinian Liberation” — in the mail, and I want to pass it along to you today. This zine features writing from queer folks worldwide offering their support and perspective towards the liberation of the Palestinian people. Compiled by Pleasure Pie, it features a liberatory demand from queer workers, students, farmers, and parents in Palestine calling us all to solidarity, as well as words by Zaheer Suboh, Kyle Carrero Lopez, Matt Bernstein, and Yazan Zahzah, submissions from queeringthemap.com, an article from alQaws about pinkwashing, and art by Sammy Rabbit. “Queer Voices from the Fight for Palestinian Liberation” is a must read. The zine is available for free download as a PDF and I highly recommend that everyone reads it and then shares it far and wide. And if you are financially able, please consider making (another) donation to one of the many fundraisers helping support Palestinians trying to flee the genocide and find safety. Click through to view a spreadsheet of fundraisers that have been vetted and could use your support. 📓 Details: half-size, 26 pages, b&w💌 : free 🔗 : printable pdf |
