Neither-Nor Zine Club at the Zine Library

Hey, Kansas City 👋 you’re invited to join the Zine Club! On the third Tuesday of each month, from 6 to 8pm, a buncha cool folks meet up at the Neither-nor Zine Library inside of Goofball Sk8boards in Waldo to hang out and chat about zines. We spend the first hour showing-and-telling our favorite zines, then work on our own creations during hour two. Each month’s meeting has a theme, so open up your banker’s boxes, flip through your magazine racks, and scour your stacks for the zines you wanna share with the world!

Club Rules

1. Wear a mask
2. Don’t be a jerk! Respect peoples’ physical and emotional boundaries, and their differing opinions, beliefs, and perspectives.
3. During the show-n-tell hour, don’t interrupt folks when the are speaking and sharing their zines.
4. Zine Club is all-ages.
5. Have fun!

Access

There are ADA Accessible parking spaces available in the Goofball parking lot. Goofball is wheelchair accessible via the east parking lot entrance. There are stairs leading to the entrance on 80th St. The floors at Goofball are concrete, and there are carpeted rugs in the Zine Library. All bathrooms at Goofball are gender neutral. There is 1 ADA bathroom onsite.

Zine Club is accessible by public transit: Goofball is located at 300 W 80th St, Kansas City, MO 64114 on the Wornall 57 bus line. If you are coming from downtown/midtown hop on the southbound Main St. Max and change to the southbound 57 bus at the Broadway and 74th Terr Sb stop. It is about a 2 minute walk from the 80th St stop. Zine Club is accessible by bicycle: Goofball Sk8boards is located on the Trolly Track Trail!
