Happy #MiniZineMarch, y’all! Sliver Nyx from Sea Green Zines has branded March as “the month for making, sharing, reading, reviewing, and otherwise celebrating mini-zines” and I thought it would be a lot of fun to participate by sharing a short review of a mini-zine every Tuesday — a revival of the #tinyzinetuesday tag that I used to share on the ‘Gram a few years ago.

I’m kicking it off with a mini by the zinester who introduced me to Mini Zine March; presenting “Witches’ Brew #9: Which Witch Are You?” by Nina of Echo Publishing. This mini is a DELIGHT, especially if you’re a witchy zinester like me — it uses the nicknames of pop icons the Spice Girls (Baby, Sporty, Scary, Ginger, and Posh) and turns them into witchy archetypes, with an accompanying quiz to determine which witch you are (turns out, I’m Posh!) I love Nina’s illustrations of each spicy witch gal, and their bright, colorful collage-style. This zine reminds me of the teen magazines I used to read growing up, and I couldn’t love it more.
